Oil Palm Buvuma Limited

Leveraging on the opportunity of vast and virgin land, on November 1, 2018, Oil Palm Buvuma Limited partnered with the government to alleviate poverty, create job opportunities and reduce reliance on importation of crude palm oil from Asia. Oil Palm Buvuma Limited has made progress in developing both land and the community, with 5,000 palm trees planted and 700 jobs created. In the future, Oil Palm Buvuma Limited plans to build schools, hospitals and bring on board a ferry, MV Palm to connect the island to the rest of the world.
